STORY BEHIND THE PHOTO: Picture Praise, 9/6/10The lady in this photo was standing across a steeply-sloped street in a small mountain town in southern Ecuador, high in the Andes Mountains. We were there with a small medical team holding mobile clinics in more remote villages, as a means of sharing the gospel. Many receive medical care, but even more hear the gospel. Seeing this lady reminds me that Christ died for people of all ages, and some of these are nearing eternity. In this particular village there is sadly no church that preaches salvation by grace alone, which demonstrates the shortage of long-term missionaries in so many areas of the world.
